Day 57: So Much Snow

"Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement." (Golda Meir)
Hello, my lovely friends!
Remember when I said we will probably be the ones who get the ten inches of snow? Well, we didn’t get ten inches it was more like fourteen inches. There was so much snow in the morning. It snowed all night long, but our trash cans stayed up, probably because the snow was so high it created a nice barrier for it. I knew in the morning that I would have to shovel the patio for Scooter and got all ready. I put Scooter’s new coat and boots on and he had no problem with it. Since the trash cans were buried in the snow I had to go out there and get them. I opened the garage door and OMG there was so much snow. I had a shovel and the plan was to just shovel a path and bring the trash cans in and that was it. Once again our snow-blower has a flat tire and it’s my fault I haven’t had it fixed.
My mom was making breakfast and since I had a path outside I decided to shovel the porch. There I am shoveling away and I saw a neighbor down the street with his snow-blower and the next thing I saw he was doing our sidewalk and finished up our driveway. He did our next-door neighbor as well. We talked to him for a few minutes and he said he does odds and ends for the elderly couple down the street that my mom is friends with. That was so nice of him to do that. I honestly think he saw me trying to shovel through a foot of snow and wanted to help out.
My doctor’s appointment got canceled because of the weather. I had to reschedule it and now it’s not until the end of March. We just going to stay in and keep warm because more snow is coming this weekend.
Be safe and well! Lots of hugs and loves to you all!
