"With everything that has happened to you, you can either feel sorry for yourself or treat what has happened as a gift. Everything is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing. You get to choose." (Author Unknown)
Hello, my lovely friends!
The sun was shining bright all day yesterday, but once the sun went down Mother Nature decided to blow in some strong cold winds. We have curtains that I close in the TV room when we go upstairs and that means we didn’t see the snow falling. Scooter usually goes outside for the last time that day between 8 to 9 at night and when I looked out OMG!!! It was like a blizzard outside, the snow was flying sideways and it was thick. I put my little man’s new coat one with his hood and his boots and off he went. He ran out and was back in twenty seconds or so. It’s crazy out there. They said it will snow through today and some parts of Denver could have up to ten inches, With our luck, it’s going to be us, LOL.
I know so many of you are sick and tired of the snow, but we need that moisture here. We’ve had many days of snow, but only a few inches here and there. So if we get a big drop today it’s needed. It’ll be sunny on Friday, but more snow for the weekend. Next week the ’60s are back and the snow will be gone. The running joke here is every Wednesday night I put out the trash cans for the next day because they come and pick up the trash around 7 in the morning and it’s always windy or some kind of crazy weather. I’m always worried that the trash can will fall over and I have to go out to pick it up. So now with the snowstorm going on, I keep looking out my window to see if he’s still standing up and so far so good.
Even though the two of us will have our vaccine we’re still going to stay home the majority of the time. I would like to have a special day out once or twice a month just to get the two of us out. In the past, the two of us would have our day out to go shopping and sometimes go to that one store that we all love to just bum around in like Cost Plus, Tuesday Morning, or Hobby Lobby. I listened to some of your suggestions on how to get out of this funk and I like the idea of getting out and just being out. Now, whenever we go out it’s for a reason and that could be part of the problem.
Be safe and well! Lots of hugs and loves to you all!
