Feeling mostly good

Saturday, March 07, 2020

Despite allergies lol feeling good. Lost 5lb this year, so far. Made budget to pay off ALL debt in 3.5 years (card, house and car) looking to get healthier. Doing house renovations, homeschooling. Chickens are doing good. We lost a cat to old age right before Christmas which was sad but she lived a good spoiled life of cuddles and love. 2 homeschooling kids 4 dogs 6 cats 100 or so chickens 2 ducks So thankful. Getting new fences up to stop dogs from trying to run away with UPS man lol. Garden about to be finished. Having an end goal for debt has made waiting to do big projects easier. If in 4 years everything is done a can use that money to redo the kitchen, do family trips, and not worry. Having the plan set helps relieve stress. We waited until we had a good savings before setting a strict budget. For emergencies. Both kids came in as "really" skinny at the pediatricians...they aren't malnourished just super active 3 and 5 year olds who do on the fly snacking. They eat more that way than a lot of sit down meals we learned. Though in a world where so many worry about childhood obesity I'm not worried lol. They just aren't sugar and sweets kids. Apples over cookies. Makes me eat healthier since if I buy junk food I eat it alone and pay for it later. Doc said give then milk shakes...they won't drink them lol ...or smoothies lol...Though they love bread... So maybe before next check up we'll eat lots of bread and oatmeal lol We're thing to be learning how to cook this year with my 5yo. Home cooking, nothing beats it. Also so much math and science. Just wish these allergies would ease up. Early rains caused everything to bloom lol. Not angry about that. In the desert we will take rain. Yup good times
