Things are getting better ...

Sunday, November 17, 2019

BUT, working sometimes increases my steps and sometimes I am sitting too much. I know I have to get a handle on this and try to work it out. I love SP and want to continue but may have to slow down a little to heal better from the injury. I see a neurosurgeon Thanksgiving week and I will get advice from him on whether hearing aids are going to help or if something else is causing the hearing loss. That's worrying me more now than anything else.

I did 7,283 steps today. I worked at the church and was up and down the stairs a lot. The Fit Bit credited me with 4 times up an down. I also went shopping. I haven't done this in a long time and it really made me feel better. Plus there was walking at the 3 stores I went to. Just give me time and I will get it built up again.

It's past my bedtime so will close this out and visit with you again tomorrow. Hope I have something really positive to say.

Have a great Sunday.

OMG Falling? I hope you are better from your injuries. My doctor doesn't like me to walk outside without my walker to prevent me from falling. I'm so scared to break a hip. It's a prevention thing for me as I'm not steady since my strokes.....

A special thank you to those who commented on my blog and condition. Today went well in the morning. We had a great service and the music went well. I am learning to tone down the piano as I tend to get loud when I'm not thinking about it.

I went to the grocery store before coming home. I got out of the car with some things in my hand and tripped on the ramp, hitting my head and my knees. I called my son and he came and stayed with me until we felt there wasn't any danger. Can't seem to win for losing. I am back on the walker now for everything to try to keep me on my feet.

Tomorrow has to be better. I am fixing to go to bed and we'll finish all this up tomorrow. Again, I appreciate all of you.

You are doing a great job building back up again. One step at a time! Sometimes we have to slow down to move forward.
