Crossing the Chasm

Thursday, March 23, 2017

Commitment raises all things to a higher plain. Commitments are frightening, but liberating. Without them no great advance is made, nor any great cause embraced.
In relation to weight loss or dietary changes leading to weight loss., we have to give it our all. Many people have often spoken about self- disciple. I will say only one thing. If you are not truly committed to the changes necessary, the journey will end without the liberation from years of your body shield.
You cannot cross a chasm without being aware that you will not be able to make it in one jump. Many try by using diet plans that you cannot possible live on indefinitely without possible harm to the chemical system your body needs to function and stay well. We have to arm our minds with the knowledge of nutritional needs. We have to avoid quick fixes for permanent change. I hate to tell you how many diets that I have been out with such only just to crash and burn for the lack of knowledge. You can use “the we send the right food to you to lose programs” and lose successfully and healthfully. If you do not really observe and learn to measure and prepare the food yourself, this will have to be your grocery bill for the rest of your life. Beware! Situations and finances can change, and then what will you do. The benefit of the program is you do not have to think or used effort, just buy and eat. It keeps the mindset of the fast food industry. WE WILL DO IT FOR YOU>
I had a dear friend, who had to have the surgery. She lost the weight and looked terrific. What did not change was her attitude toward food. She also did not change her feelings or identify what to do when the triggers to eat occurred.
We also have the diet industry telling us to buy things to detoxify our system. None have these have been proved to be necessary, but millions of dollars are made selling them. Take a pill, and sleep off years of bad eating habits and ideas.
You need to find a food plan that reduces calorie intake. You need to increase you physical output. This is the only diet plan that has been proven to have the life time effect that you need. The other thing that makes it work----look at the mirror into your soul, emotions and to identify why you use the fat to hide been and why the food is your only source of comfort.
My biggest concern for others is that that they do not want to take ownership for the problem. Much like the worlds we live in today, the “you owe me something for my being this way “or any other of a thousand excuses. YOU OWN THE PROBLEM> yes we pick up habits from our family. Yes we are bombarded with food advertising. Yes we have the, “I should not be deprived” attitude. “
The other lie we tell ourselves and others is, “you should like me as I am.” The question you should be asking is do you really like yourself?
