Corinthians 10:31New International Version (NIV)

31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

This is the verse we should think about when we eat. If we overeat and become morbidly obese, is this for His glory or the satisfaction of the flesh. It is the way that the great tempter destroys your ability to live the life that He has planned for us to live. It is the way the life that we really want to live is destroyed. Watch the show My 600 lb. Life. Is this where you want to be. Are you able to do the things that you want to do? Are you able to serve the Lord with weight as an impediment? Are you committing the sin of gluttony?
Yes you will say, I have choices. You should like me the way I am. You should accept me as I am. The question is, do you?

The Believer’s Freedom
23 “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive. 24 No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.
As Christians and as humans we should ask is what we do or say or how much we eat for the good of others. Overeating majorly effects you, but what of those that have to tend to your needs. What about those for whom your duty is to take care of? Is it for their good to be hooked to you to sustain your unhealthiness and to watch you kill your self with food. What kind of life are they living at your expense?
I have found the battle with weight most of my life. At my heaviest I was 476, at my thinnest 145 and a size 5. I was anorexic. I was still abusing my body by not feeding it properly. I ended up in the hospital.
Follow the laws of the Bible on healthy eating, and correlate it to the nutrition laws of the day. You will find great similarities. My best suggestion to you is to eat sensibly. Do not deny yourself things that you enjoy. But that being said learn portions, preparation, storage. Buy yourself a scale to weigh your food if cup measurements not given. Carry with you cups for measuring portion sizes when out eating. Ask for you food prepared the way that is most healthy. Most places will comply. QUIT looking for excuses and find solutions to your roadblocks in eating successfully for good health.
Do not let food be your imprisonment with a body of fat as your armor. Learn to let your feelings become your strength and not your undoing.
PRAY to HIM for guidance in this walk of your life as you should in all. Remember judge ye not lest ye be judged. God loves you just as you are but He expects you to respect HIS temple, your body that houses His spirit within your soul.
