Day 3 Work Day

I work in the food industry. I own a mobile kitchen that serves a paleo menu. It's healthy-ish. But it still fair food. High in fat and salt. When I work on the weekends, it's not uncommon for me to have no idea how much food I gave eaten and how many calories it was. It's something I really want to work on as I make my way through these next 86 days. Paying attention to my habits means that I get the opportunity to adjust what is not working to my benefit. There is no quick fix to my lifestyle and choices. It's day by day, staying on track and making better choices. Recordable choices are where I need to start. Anyone else get bulldozed by their grazing habit? A little of this, a little of that, till you have no idea if it's 500 or 5000 calories? That was me today.

    Your awareness will make all the difference. I have one cheat day a week and I eat everything I like. But because I am very careful 6 days of the week, the stomach seems to have adjusted to this routine and I rarely if ever get out of control!

    Try this yourself and over time, you will find yourself eating mindfully as way of life!!
