800 6 years, 2,191 days of Sparking! I went UP a # this week, YIKES! Not what I had planned. Salt & building muscles at gym, clothes fit better, but now I'm 10# above my smallest goal, boo hoo! Thx to SP at least I have the tools to fix it, right? I'm the healthiest I've been in years!!!!! 521 Tomorrow, for St. Pats day I am taking my White Fox & skating him in the local parade for a few hours, if no rain or wind (20 MPH today)! Now that is energy! He weights about 10#!

I am healing my knee from over doing it in Zumba, BUT loving the rest of my body for taking great care of me, during this process. It truly is a day of 'being in the moment". I took the scooter to the park, so Lucy could walk. There was a jazz piano man, singing. So we stopped & enjoyed the music. TRULY a magical moment. He was never there before!

So the fireworks, illegal have begun. Our dog Lucy has kept us up for 2 nights. Scared. Lot's of holding & trying to comfort her. REALLY hard, not much sleep for 2 days! I don't know how parents do it, ???? I've never had kids. WOW
I've pained my toes, too! I do it 1 time a year, for my Bday. (Can't stand the smell, for days afterwards!) I go out side to do them. It was 105 when I went out. They dry fast but still smelly! LOL!

That's where I learned about SparkPeople!!!! This copy has "Strong start guide" inside! I have the book on cd's & listen to Chris, several times a month. Renew-refresh! 7-27-18 Yesterday after working till noon, picking up mail, I went to COSTCO for work supplies. & veggies & fish, etc.I also wanted to walk, & did for 2.5 hours, can't hike right now.

I thought after my 2 hour hike, yesterday I would be tired..... but today we swam for 45, minutes & walked for an hour & next is Nichole's 12 minute seated core.... It helps me SO much! 10-14-18 Yesterday was a 90% day, day 5 of streak. (Not 100% because I went over in HEALTHY calories by 221). I had walked for 3 hours, I am ok with it! That is why my goal is sliding between 80-100 %. I need to have wiggle room. Today is a rest day for us. Still almost 200 minutes, just not over. Great life I am living! Sunrise on my walk:

I keep checking my SPARK Streaks... sometimes, things don't register. I go back a day or 2 & up date what I've accomplished! I've been doing REALLY great! 100-80% days for several weeks now, WOO HOO! I was LADY UNICORN for Halloween! Fun!!!!
Goals work! Small ones for me, for sure! Today is my 2,424 days of being active on this site!!!! Also, my SMALL Commitment TEAM goal for the past few weeks is to stay between 80-100% of reaching my goals for the day! Almost everyday has been 100%! I am stronger & happier from my focus! While I was healing my knee, (all better now!) I use to do Nichole's 12 minute core workout. I REALLY wanted to stretch out my spine today, just did it, again. Check it out, easy peasy & so strengthening I released 2 # in my waist, doing this during the 6 months of healing. THX Nichole! ALSO: made chicken VEGGI soup, so many veggies, love it! "Be the health you want with what you have to work with, & I will, too!" A quote by me!

He almost cried because I took the time to say, hi. WOW. Made my day! Such a little thing can change someone's day! The reason for the season! Our Santa & Mrs. C in photo. Hard to tell but Santa weighs about 25 pounds & stands 3 feet tall. I don't use him much, these days!

I generally get about 10 servings of fruit & veggies, daily! Star the day with apple sauce then breakfast is green drink.... blueberries, spinach, Trader Joes green powder, etc. also canned un salted 100% pumpkin, Greek non fat yogurt, YUMMY! About 5 fruits & veggies. I make veggie packs for the week. Grab & go out in the world, with 2 hard boiled eggs. Salads etc.... Hope YOU are getting healthier, too!

So today I took my car into a 'new' for me mechanic. I've been searching for 3 years. My old, GREAT shop closed. I found the new 1 through AAA. Then read the yelp reports, AMAZING. Since my car need to be in the shop most of the day, I did errands. Truly CRAVING a cinnamon roll. BUT... Came home & made my sprouted cinnamon bread toast with coconut oil, cinnamon & Xylitol. Took my craving right away! GREAT for me!

10-25-19 Another busy day... I hurt my side doing all the stuff for the plumbers. (Monday) Under sink clean outs, moving boxes etc. I am performing tomorrow, as a butterfly! I'm taking it VERY easy.
Yesterday I performed at the Nature Preserve, 3 hours & 500 people greeted, I had a BLAST!!!!! & because of my SP re-boot, I had the energy!!!!! Woo Hoo!

11-2-19 Our 44th anniversary, yesterday was SO special. We had dinner on top of the world. It was perfect, (except I over ate) Lot's of walking & sight seeing. DH gave me 44 gas car fill ups. I gave him a detailed car cleaning for his car. It came out beautifully! We REALLY take good care of our cars, AND each other. We are still on our Honeymoon. Met in High school. Yes, we have our ups & downs, but try really hard at keeping our romance alive. Lot's of work, but worth it!

OUR WEATHER HAS BEEN WEIRD TO SAY THE LEAST, TOO! down to 40 or less at night & highs of 78 to 80! Too cold to swim, though, REALLY miss it! Last week was VERY cold. My plants & palm trees haven't a clue what to do. We can only water 1 day a week. So I've been hand watering here & there! My Eyes, great again! THX! hugs to all!

Sky clear enough of smoke from another state, to be outside & Swim for over an hour, walk LUCY dog for 35 minutes, garden 120 minutes, housework & now work! YEAH!

Here is my thanksgiving new clothes. Unicorn top & hot pink Zumba shoes! Love wearing them! Even though it was just 'us' I usually dress up for the holidays. I wanted to make this 1 special, too! Before I go to sleep I 'rate' the day as far as 1-10 of how great a day it was. That way if I wake up in the night, I can remember... it was a 9 day & it helps me go back to sleep! Works for me! 525 minutes of fitness, today! 8,615 steps, Almost 4 miles according to fit bit. 60 minutes of Zumba, walked our dog, shopped, errands, then went to the gym for strength machines 40 mins. I went WAY out of my way to try new machines. I manage cardio, always, it is the strength training I need more of. Sure got it today! Fun challenge, it is REALLY keeping me focused on adding more minutes, THANKS Spark Guy!!!!

I get allot of points because I work out about 200 minutes a day! Today was 244, includes 4 miles, 9,000 steps, &&&&& Zumba & stretching. I LOVE to work out!
Getting fruits & veggies is REALLY easy for me! I woke up yesterday CRAVING veggies! They just make it for me! Raw carrots, peas, asparagus, grapes, apple, celery, radishes, &&&& salad PLUS cooked broccoli, Brussels sprouts &&&&& THANKS 2B for this photo!
The challenge is to exercise 10 minutes a day. I try for 200 a day or 1400 a week. This is including ANY exertion activity. Hiking, Zumba, Pilates, walking our LUCY dog, laundry, heavy house cleaning, the gym, etc.

A new blog, today about the LV Santa 5K Yesterday! 
Thank you all for understanding & supporting me, & my being not as active on SP, still grieving my MIL passing, last Monday. On a happier note, I am once again walking in the LV Santa 5K for SparkP
My Mom #2, MIL passed last night. After 12 days of trying to 'come back' into this amazing life. We will miss her SO much. She was 93, had a great life & we spent MANY GREAT moments together this past few days. So precious.
MIL passed last night, :~( at least she is not in pain now. Hard days, love you, please tell your loved 1's how much you care! It helped us all so much!pic from mid Oct.
MIL is still 'with us'. We are visiting for several hours daily, trying to keep her comfortable as she passes. "Be the health you want with what you have to work with, & I will too!" quote by me!

As it was 90 degrees at 5:30am, our dog, LUCY could not go for her walk. Just too hot for her 12 yr. old body. I thought of taking her to Petsmart, she can walk inside. Going to 108! Safety first!

I'm still trying to find a solutionto keeping hair dry while swimming. Yes! I use a cap, sometimes 2. I LOVE to dive deep & do back flips under water. No luck on internet, just asking! THX!!!!
