    I feel like these people don't understand that nutritionists and dietitians spend years studying to be able to help people. "Helpful" people find one or two "super awesome" diets that they push for, without really knowing anything about nutrition or possible issues people may have.

    I saw your comment on the Exercise blog about knee and back pain
    you mentioned that you could not get down on the floor to do many of them. I want to encourage you do do them on your bed. I can't do them as easily or as well maybe on my bed, but I can at least get up again when I do them on my bed and sometimes I do exercises before I get up or before I get the covers over me before I go to sleep.

    just a thought. exercises have helped my knee and back pain a lot over the years since I injured my knee in 2003. Something else which has helped both, and many people don't try this but in case your willing, Try going at least 2 weeks without any wheat. wheat has proven to be a huge irritant on those joints. The wheat inflammation is accumulative so it takes about two weeks to see the best results.
    And adding two capsules of trurmeric morning and evening, also helps with pain and innflamation. for me this takes about 24 hours to see good results but the articles I've read say to take it for a week or two to see if it works for you.
    My knees are bone on bone, according to the doctor but I can be nearly pain free if I watch those two things. the exercises support the joint from slipping and the dietary changes aid immensely in being pain free. Give them a try, and see if they help you.
