I never really suffered from the lose weight then blow up to more then you were the first time. I was very lucky to have a really stable set point until I had to lose weight to qualify for something. I didn't make it and I was depressed and I ate everything I hadn't been eating for months and my weight grew (surprise surprise). Now I have a new, not so good, set point and it is causing a lot of stress on my joints and making it difficult to do that things I like to do. So I am back here again to do it right this time. Slow and steady with eating habits that will last (no deprivation).

My Goals:
I will weight 200lbs. I will fit comfortably in 14-size clothing. My life will be easier because I will be more able to find nice and comfortable clothing. My knees and back will not make me wince. I will also not feel out-of-breath while doing everyday activities. I will achieve this goal by restricting my calorie intake to 2000 paired with lunchtime walks, stair climbing, and aquafit at first. As my weight decreases I will increase my level of activity. When I will not take seconds of food that is high in sugar, or fat but I will savour and not regret every mouthful when I do have such foods. I will not eat when I am simply bored or feeling sad but only when I am hungry. I accept that I may have set backs but I will not feel guilty and just get back on track without pushing myself too hard as punishment.

My Program:
I am eating around 2000 calories a day with fresh (frozen) fruit and veggies and whole grains. I go for a walk at lunch and walk some of the way home from work. I go to aquafit 2 a week and walk the dog every day.
