In 2006, these words inspired me to lose 86 pounds;

"Think about how different life could be if you stopped emphasizing the end, the fix or getting there, and began enjoying each step of the way. If one moment was as good as the next. It has been over ten years since those words inspired me to lose 86 pounds, and a lot has happened in that time. I gained back the weight, plus an extra 14 pounds.. Then I lost 72 pounds, only to gain them back within a few months. It has been one weight loss attempt after another, followed by one re-gain each time.

I'm back again for another attempt. I still believe that I'm worth the effort, and with God's help (and the support of my Spark friends) I will reach a healthy weight and find the strength to maintain it this time.

I can either be loyal to honoring the Lord with my body or loyal to my cravings, desires, and many excuses for not exercising. The apostle Paul taught the Corinthians about this two thousand years ago when he wrote: "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body."

Fitness Minutes: 89,290

My Goals:
To be as healthy and strong as possible, through a healthy diet and plenty of exercise. I do not have a weight goal, I just want to feel better and take care of my body.


My Program:
Trying to eat healthy, real food, around 1500 calories a day. Fighting the battle against sodas and junk food.
My goal is to exercise three to five days a week.



Personal Information:
I am a born again Christian and mom to two awesome sons. I am 58 years old. MAGA!


Other Information:
I workout at home with DVD's. I love DDP Yoga the best!
