Live in northeastern Montana.

One of my Spark friends had this on his status (4/28/2016) -- THENEWMICHAEL "When it comes to measuring progress, the mirror is a better instrument than the scale."
WOW!!! That is something we all need to take to heart!

We all have a whoops day. Its what you do the day after that counts... Kaliswalker

"I'd rather cheat once a month than fall off the bandwagon and overeat everyday!" - Lynz on her Spark Montana blog

JOHAL52 is still in a holding pattern over life. But that's okay--sometimes holding patterns can lead to growth--it's up to me :) -- Her status for 2Aug11 -- A small comment that speaks volumes.

CATINCJ Never set your goals at some else's pace or evaluate your performance by someone else's standards. Added 2May13 from her feed that day.

My Goals:
To exercise more, get more toned, and get to a healthier weight. I would like to stave off any joint problems in legs and hips.

Another goal which I have is to get rid of a lot of the "stuff" I possess, way more than I need to have.

My Program:
Portion Control - although I haven't been real successful in doing this, I am more aware of what portions are and try to stick with them most of the time.

I use the nutrition tracker and follow no particular weight loss diet, just try to get more freggies, less carbs and fat. I have been customizing the "my favorites" list to include the foods I use the most. I have been also making use of the exercise tracker, getting at least 10 minutes of cardio every day. I try to do some strength trainig 3 days a week.

Personal Information:
I live in Northeastern Montana. I work more than full time at a desk job. I spend way too much time on the computer...

Jan, 2016 -- All of this still holds true.

Other Information:
Am a cat person. Like to knit, sew, quilt, garden -- but don't seem to get much of them done.

2/24/2013 -- Several fiber craft people have been meeting during lunch hour once a week to work on projects, visit, and show off our latest projects. We also share techniques when someone has a problem with their project. Some are also starting into spinning using drop spindles.

Thanks for the blog comment! Good to know I'm not alone on the VHS thing! Let's hope mama decides to get it together and focus on her health as much as I want her to. Hope you're enjoying a successful week! emoticon

Thank you for the words of encouragement on my blog. You are right that I need to just brush it off and start over again. I am learning that it really is true that the more you stay on track, the easier it is to say no to the temptations and you have less cravings. Good luck on your journey.

P.S.. you are right "you go women" just doesn't sound the same lol.

You really do llive in the boonies. I am only about 15-18 miles from a Walmart. The beef where you live sounds great though. I would love the Oriental shop too. We used to have an Indian grocery store about 70 miles from here. It was great.
