Well, don't that beat all! My parents are from Harlan County in Kentucky. Pineville is not far from little area most of my kin still live. Most of my childhood summers was spent on top that mountain .Granny's side (Daddy) was from Rosehill , VA. Hate only one thing in those mountains and that's those blasted snakes! Maybe, you can help me with two words by typing out how they sound, If you would , please. I tell my grandchildren the story of first man and woman as well as the strawberry story and them. I pronounce her name (Sulu) just like the Asian StarTrek member operating the control panel. First man's name I cannot even begin to so , thus call him Adam. Think you can give me an ideal or should I stick to Adam. LOL Also, tell them the story of how fire came to be and the little water spider. Keep taking care and being extra careful.....ya hear!

Your page is very interesting, especially about learning the language. Years ago had looked into tapes to learn the language but only Western Cherokee was available. Then George Edwin( Cherokee professor at Kent State was going to teach but closed his little shop). Am unable to connect with him since. Noticed the pic of the Smokies. Do you live in the area. I have always loved the mountains. Whenever, am in them will watch each morning to see "the spirits rising". Mercy, it's as if a person could almost here them calling. Oops, now I am rattling so will stop. I didnt make it to Qualla Boundary last summer but was there year before. You be safe and take care......ya hear!

Yay I added you also my dear spark sister! I left for a while and when I came back I became beelady . It's been a long time I've had hives on my property at least 50 boxes and in the summer they took over my yard and I became interested in them.🐝 103 days ago
