In the past I would make all these goals, steps to get to them and beg for help on accountability. This time I am self-directed. Yes. I know we all need help and encouragement but it ends up being about what others will think or the "I thought you was on a diet" comments that would hurt my ego and cause me to get off course. Ideally I'm a private person, so setting my "secret" goals and working MY plan has really ...

In the past I would make all these goals, steps to get to them and beg for help on accountability. This time I am self-directed. Yes. I know we all need help and encouragement but it ends up being about what others will think or the "I thought you was on a diet" comments that would hurt my ego and cause me to get off course. Ideally I'm a private person, so setting my "secret" goals and working MY plan has really worked. This past few weeks haven't been prefect but I haven't had the negative self-talk, not once. We all have to figure out our own journey, mine is with you (Sparkpeople 😊), a trusted co-worker Sue who is walking talking encouragement and my doctor (of course with God).
