I'm 75. another years has gone by, so now I am 75,and I have decided that I am not going to focus on losing weight as much as I am going to improve my eating habits. I have asthma and am on oxygen at night and can't walk long distances, I have had 3 surgeries on my left shoulder and now have a frozen shoulder, so that shoulders makes it difficult to do a lot of kind of exercises, so I do what I can, and if I lose a couple pounds that is a bonus, not a requirement.

I am a farmers wife and engaged in as much of the farm as I can, and understand. We do have some livestock, sheep, 8 miniatures horses, and goats and right now we share the chores, me in the morning and hubby in the evening, but once field works start the chores are all my baby, and I do enjoy them.

I really don't have any big expectations, cause I am not one that likes setting goals. I just want to be as healthy as I can and enjoy life, and it doesn't mean spending hours and hours walking, running, working out in a smelly germ infested gym, I work hard on the farm and that has been the way it has been for many centuries, in my family, so I think it is good enough for me.
Honest work, and knowing I should not eat as much as I do, but it is all natural food, that means I don't eat boxed or store canned food unless it is unavoidable. If you read labels, some dogs and cats eat better than some do. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
So that said I have no goals, just honest living, and no beating myself up if I have a piece of pie.

I agree. Moderation seems to be the best. How is everything out there? Our weather is nice this week. Might get rain next week. Sure hope so, we need it. emoticon

Thanks for the blog love. I think there will be a big change in 'feelingness' when this scarf is washed. Right now, under tension for weaving, it feels a little stiff. But everything changes in the first wash!!

I like what NANCYPAULINE said on my blog yesterday: "Death and taxes may be two of life's certainties as Ben Franklin claimed, but they are two of life's most exhausting chores for the living." Isn't that the truth?

Linda, I think I almost agree with you. I'm okay with the snow and it sure is preferable over the heat & humidity. I just wish it didn't have to get so darn cold and last so long! But once I get out there I'm fine and always glad I went!

Thanks for the pullover to cardigan comment! There are quite a few places on the web if you search for 'steeking a sweater' and look for one that does not talk about putting in a zipper. Send me a message and I will try to find a good one for you.
