Fitness Minutes: 7,165

My Goals:
My main goal is to be healthy in body and spirit so that I can live the right kind of life.

My Program:
 Eat properly. Forget about food at the end of every meal. Weigh once a week. Do not obsess. Do not limit life in any way because of body size.


Personal Information:
I'm from a tiny town in Georgia (with no traffic lights), but now I live in Kobe, Japan. I'm married to a Japanese and have three bilingual, bicultural children--a son, 30, a daughter, 28, and a daughter, 23. I teach English to Japanese company workers, 99% of whom are men. I like my job.

Other Information:
 I love reading. One of my favorite books is Fred Chappell's novel "Brighten the Corner Where You Are." And if I could state my philosophy, the title of that book would be IT!

    Thank you so much for reading and commenting on my blog. How are you, Carolyn? How is your rehabilitation going? I guess you have only a few more days in hospital. I hope everything is going smoothly and you’re healing well, and I hope hospital life isn’t too restricted or boring. I imagine it will be wonderful to walk without pain in your knee.
    Looking forward to saying “Omedetou gozaimasu” when you come out of hospital.
