I've been in my goal body for almost a decade and it feels incredible to be strong and fit. I'm so grateful every day in the gym as I watch my body in the mirror doing the work. It's unbelievable really that I went from where I was to certifications as a personal trainer and nutrition coaching.

Fitness Minutes: 65,018

My Goals:
I've ridden a century event on my road bike (100 miles).
I've done an olympic triathlon two weeks shy of my 48th birthday.
This year I'm doing a full ironman in a relay team with my son and his adorable girlfriend.
Who'd have thunk? I'm an athlete after all. :)


My Program:
I eat pretty clean these days, low processed foods, but I can eat what my body tells me it wants. I don't count calories anymore, but pay attention to macros and how my body is looking. Adding muscle to my frame has helped me immensely.



Personal Information:
I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest near Olympia, Washington.


Other Information:
Ladies.. please please please pick up some weights and add it to your routine. I cannot stress weight bearing exercise enough, especially for us women. Just trust me on this one.. ;) I plan on aging as gracefully as I can and the strength training is a crucial part of this plan. Our bodies NEED the stress of weight bearing exercise just as much as the cardio. Besides, when you're all skinny you want muscle there to fill in the looser skin you may or may not have. Muscles are SEXY. I swear. :)
