CHOOSING Health is to Take the High Road~(read on)

ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS: That is the diagnosis given me when I was 28 years old! Was told by an Orthopedist that I would be crippled and in a wheel chair permanently in my forties and be disabled. I refused to accept that 'dooms day' sentence ..... After defying the crippling effects this brings, with my spine completely fused , I went through unbelievable pain and still have stiffness but ..... many years later, I continue working in health care full time, have centered my life around fitness and exercise and beat all odds!~A rheumatologist who treated me remarked, " whatever you are doing keep it up" ...(swimming and lots of walking) plus most of all, I am a believer.... And my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ has brought me through much peril into a place of victory and fulfillment..

Happy Friday!! I noticed when looking at the grocery ads that June is designated as National Dairy Month. I thought it might be appropriate to start off the month with some milk jokes. I'll apolgize right now, because a couple of these are utterly ridiculous!

Where do astronauts get their milk?
    From the Milky Way.

What kind of milk comes from a pampered cow?
    Spoiled milk.

I bought a can of evaporated milk, but when I opened it - it was empty.

What kind of milk do yo get from a brown cow?
    Chocolate milk.

What do you call a cow that won't give milk?
    A milk dud.

What kind of milk do you get from a forgetful cow?
    Milk of Amnesia.

I hope these jokes weren't too sour for you.

Have a wonderful Friday, and a wonderful weekend!

Thursday: Well, pretty calm day, thankfully. Sunny and humid yesterday, but not as warm as Tuesday, thankfully.

Dusting, polishing and cleaning floors. Exciting, eh!

HUGS and here’s to a terrific Thursday.

Wednesday: Thunderstorm warning last night. Major storms rolled through north and south of us, but we just got some sprinkles.

Was able to get my hair cut yesterday! Just the hair stylist and I and it only took 15 minutes. Wonderful!!!

HUGS and here’s to a wonderful Wednesday.

Tuesday: Got out to the store for a few items today. IN and out. Missions accomplished. Looked like rain all day, but no rain so far. But overnight, yes.

Seems like last night was more quiet w/the protesters. Supposed to be raining today, so hopefully that will help. Going to get up to 90 today, too.

My dear, I hope it's a peaceful day and hoping things are improved for your DD.
